This is why ALL of the work
dedicated to this site is worth it......
What
you are about to read is something very special indeed. You see
during the many years after the war Harv actually forgot what
transpired during that fateful day in which the LST 333 went
down....
What
you are about to read happens ONLY because of the internet...that
venue of o's and 1's that people sometimes take for granted.....
Yet
Sometimes it actually WORKS!:

Recently I was given the documentation and
medal from the Purple Heart that was sent to my grandmothers family
upon the loss of her brother Guy Denham Fallow, Ships Cook 2'nd
Class, U.S. Naval Reserve on June 22, 1943. Through my limited
research all signs tell me that he was stationed aboard the LST 333.
I also have one letter that one of his shipmates sent to the family
shortly after his death in 1943, however it never states the ships
name. I didn't know if someone could verify this. I have Found that
the information out there is very limited on The LST 333.
Thank you,

Harv has just recently answered this young man
in the following reply email. I will continue to update this news
when and if anything transpires from here. Leave it to say that once
again the internet and dare I say it....THE GOOD LORD answers
prayers!
